I am Knight of the Triad (in training) devoted to Tyr, Ilmater, and Torm Born in Damara raised in the city of Thunderweep in The Vast. These are my personal experiences.

My companions in good and bad times - The firmest friendships have been formed in mutual adversity, as iron is most strongly united by the fiercest flame.

The downward spiral to the core of evil

18 Kythorn, 1373

Pavel has disappeared. I cannot allow myself to dwell on his fate for he is far too dear to me. I MUST just focus on the deeds ahead…..

I now know that I am one of the components of the return of evil. I have been played as a fool and patsy. I push forward to face my enemies and with my first steps I am almost swallowed whole by the evil of this temple. The moment I regain composure and focus, my enemy strikes me to the core…..

I have inadvertently given my enemies the King’s tears they needed. They have little left to attain before they succeed and my failure is complete…..

Kelestri tells me I must pray to the evil Gods to gain entrance to the lower bowels of the temple. I will never give them the worship they crave. To gain passage and save face I give the following address: “Myrkul, you foul bastard, grant us passage so that I may slay your minions.” Apparently this was adequate…..

We travel deeper into the darkness. The taint of this place wants to consume all of us. I pray we can endure the power of the evil pantheon that wants us. If we fail we will be added to the darkness. The darkness will consume the entire Vast and my greatest fears will come true. For the first time I fight hopelessness. I will add this intangible enemy to the pile of defeated foes.
