The Lesson of Anger

6 Mirtul, 1373
Haelimbrar and I have spent much time together and I have enjoyed it. Unbeknownst to me he decided to test my patience. He had me running all over Kirth looking for a book on the heraldry of Maskyr’s Eye and when I finally found it and delivered it he set it aside. He barely glanced at it and then said bring me a scroll with the population census of Kirth from ten years ago. Again he set it aside without a glance and the process continued all day until I exploded in anger. Haelimbrar then taught me the lesson of anger as written in the Triadic Vulgate. I am humbled and moved. I understand now more than ever. I have squandered my energies with useless anger. I have undermined my own goals and even friendships with this demon. I will never make these mistakes again. I can even see how it blinded me to the intentions of Slyl. Although I have learned much, I don’t plan on telling him if we ever meet again.

Sincere commentary:

As Animosus continues his lessons and embraces the Triadic Way, surely many deep-seeded beliefs may be shaken, engrained behaviors might be modified, and dark recesses of his unconscious may surface, allowing him to confront the toughest enemy of all—oneself.

I like the fact that Animosus selected to stay in Kurth. It was a befitting "end" to his adventuring career. He chose the best for himself, for his family, and for Kurth. Alas, it was not the only choice and I wonder if somewhere there is regret within his heart, or, perhaps the shackles of routine and responsibility will wear upon him in the weeks or months to come?

It will be interesting to see how his character evolves along-side his profound experiences as Garrison Commander under perhaps the most pretigious holy knight within hundreds of miles.

He may learn the reason why Haelimbrar is the only one of his kind in this "vast" region, recognizing perhaps the difficulty to radiate virtue, purity, and devotion to three gods.

More difficult still may be the truth in Haelimbrar's solitude—the horrible truth that the Triad's difficult path rests in the very crosshairs of every evil weapon, upon the sights of every horrible creature, and is the target for every evil organization who wishes beyond compare, an end to the powerful Triadic Way and their order of holy knights.

...sometimes anger does cloud ones judgement..and sometimes it causes one to focus on the problem... but getting angry a lot is not a good thing.....if slyl was in your position..he would only had asked that if he is to run more then one errand..that he do more then one at the same time...as it would be a waste of time to keep coming and going...but hey...slyl has lost his cool...but only at the face of death
